My Information

Does BONENT have all my contact information?

How do I review or change my contact information?

To check that your contact information is current, you can go to the “My Account” section listed in the top right corner of our website and:

  2. Once you login, you will be able to view your certification information and update your contact information.

Certification

Can my employer verify my NNCO certification on the BONENT website?

Yes. Your employer can verify your NNCO certification online via the “Verify a Certification” section listed in the top right corner of our website.

If I have a Hemodialysis Technician certification with BONENT and a BioMed Technician certification with NNCO, will my BioMed certification be added to my current BONENT ID number?

No. You will keep the ID number assigned by NNCO until your next recertification. After you recertify, you will be assigned a new BONENT ID number for your BioMed certification. This means that you will hold two certifications with BONENT. Each certification will have a separate ID#.

I have a Hemodialysis Technician certification with BONENT (CHT) and one with NNCO (CCNT). What will happen to my CCNT?

Your NNCO certification will expire on the date listed in your record. You will only need to
maintain your BONENT certification.

Will my NNCO ID number stay the same?

Your Certificate Number assigned by NNCO will be used as your BONENT ID#. After you recertify, you will be assigned a new BONENT ID#

Recertification

Do I need to recertify with BONENT?

If you are certified before December 31, 2020, a one-time recertification, based on the current NNCO recertification criteria, will be honored by BONENT. This will expire in 2024, or after your next recertification (whichever comes first).

How much does it cost to recertify through BONENT?

As an NNCO certificant, your first recertification through BONENT will remain under NNCO criteria and include your usual fee of $160. Upon approval of your submission, you will become a BONENT member and future recertifications are free. You will then be required to pay an Annual Certification Fee of $60 (see question below). Click here for NNCO Recertification Guidelines.

Annual Certification Fee

When will I start paying the annual Certification Fee?

You will continue with the current NNCO fee structure by paying $160 with your next recertification. After that, you will be invoiced the $60 Annual Certification Fee and future recertifications are free. You will be able to mail in payment, or pay online through the “My Account” section on our website.
