The Board of Nephrology Examiners Nursing & Technology (BONENT) is committed to protecting our website visitors’ privacy and online security. We will not share your personal information with third parties without your permission. By being certified by BONENT, or by using our website, you are consenting to our privacy policy.
Certification: We collect basic personally identifying information from you such as name, email, mailing address and phone number, that you have provided to us voluntarily when applying to be certified by BONENT. The information we keep, is stored on our secure database. We, from time to time, use your email to alert you to BONENT information such as exam application status, newsletter, annual fee updates, and other relevant information on services from BONENT, sent via standard email, or third party distribution software.
My Account (Secure Section): There is a secure section in our website only for our members to whom BONENT provides an initial password in order to gain access to view and/or change their own personal information, or register for a regional seminar, or track their continuing education, pay fees, order merchandise. Any information in this section will remain the secured property of BONENT.
Certification Verification by Employer: Employers are able to look on the BONENT website if an employee is certified by BONENT, via the secure section of the website by entering the employee’s BONENT ID number and the last four digits of his/her Social Security Number. They do not have access to make any changes whatsoever. They do not have access to any information other than name, address and certification status.
Regional Seminars: BONENT holds several regional seminars annually. As a BONENT member, non-member, and/or dialysis company representative, BONENT may alert you to seminar news and updates via email.
Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to collect some data to improve our site. Such data may include your IP address, domain, operating system, device, and service provider. Depending on your browser settings, Google Analytics may also be used to collect your age, gender and search-engine generated affinity categories. This type of information is not provided to us about individuals, but only about our web visitors generally, for example what percentage of visitors to our website are male or female and in different age groups.

We use cookies to provide you with a better experience and to become more familiar with our customers through the study of analytics. Official Board policy states that the BONENT Executive Office:
- Can only speak to exam applicants regarding application details.
- May not discuss any application with managers, supervisors educators, co-workers or family members.
