![]() General Information AFTER Exam Retake Exam In the event a candidate does not achieve a passing score on the examination, he/she may retake the next available examination. The candidate must submit a signed application or written request with his/her full address, social security number, previous exam date and location, and requested exam date and location. Applicants are given a maximum of three opportunities to successfully complete the examination within 12 months. If passing the examination does not occur after 3 attempts, applicants will be required to complete 8 hours of nephrology-related continuing education or attend and complete a nephrology educational program. A certificate of participation or passing grade must be submitted before taking a future BONENT examination. Fees
